कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने शहीद हवलदार सत्ये सिंह बिष्ट को अर्पित की श्रद्धांजलि
देहरादून। सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश ने अठूरवाला पहुंचकर जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा जिले के तंगधार में पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान देहरादून अठुरवाला निवासी शहीद हवलदार सत्ये सिंह बिष्ट की अंतिम यात्रा में सम्मिलित होकर उन्हे पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर अपनी और प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की ओर से श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस दौरान सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने परिवारजनों को भी ढांढस बंधाया और सरकार की तरफ से हर संभव मदद का भरोसा भी दिलाया।
सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा अमर शहीदों के परिजनों को मिलने वाली राशि को ₹10 लाख से बढ़ाकर ₹50 लाख करने के साथ ही सैनिकों और उनके आश्रितों के कल्याण हेतु अनेकों हितकारी फैसले लिए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम किसी शहीद को वापस नहीं ला सकते लेकिन शहीद की वीरता का बखान करना और उनको यादों की जिंदा रखने का कार्य हर देशवासी का कर्तव्य है और प्रदेश सरकार इस दिशा में पूरी ईमानदारी के साथ कार्य कर रही है। सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि उन्होंने कहा कि दुःख की इस घड़ी में केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार परिवार जनों के साथ खड़ी है।
बताते चले कि हवलदार सत्ये सिंह बिष्ट मूल रूप से टिहरी गढ़वाल के निवासी थे और जम्मू कश्मीर के कुपवाड़ा जिले के तंगधार में पेट्रोलिंग के दौरान जवान सत्ये सिंह बिष्ट शहीद हो गए। हवलदार सत्ये सिंह 17वीं गढ़वाल राइफल में तैनात थे।
इस दौरान डोईवाला विधायक बृजभूषण गैरोला, विधायक विनोद कंडारी, मुख्यमंत्री मीडिया कॉर्डिनेटर हरीश चंद्र कोठारी प्रशासन और पुलिस के अधिकारी तथा स्थानीय निवासियो ने अमर शहीद को श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए।
